DAISY'S WORLD CHARACTERS
PURPLE POP PETE
Animal enthusiast and creative engineer, Purple Pop Pete gets around. He is a frozen treat from the South Pole, somehow living in sunny, Southern California. How does he exist without melting? He is famous in Daisy’s World for inventing an ingenious suit known as the Cold Suit, that insulates and protects his frozen figure. Sometimes his big, warm heart overheats with compassion and empathy, bringing on a meltdown.
Driven by courage and with the support of his loving family back in Antarctica, Pete travels the world and is always helping others.
THE DOLLCAST
As the myth goes in Daisy’s World, the Dollcast were willed to life by the youthful and brilliant Attorney Malkah, the youngest attorney known to man. Her supernatural willpower and vast creativity breathed life into the dolls that she played with as a toddler. They were so happy to be freed from the shelves where they had sat for so many years!
No one knows what happened to Attorney Malkah as the living creatures eventually overpowered her and she vanished. The mystery is shushed within Daisy’s World society.
Now, the Dollcast have evolved into a force to reckon with, wreaking havoc in Daisy’s World, as they become increasingly mischievous. However surreal the dolls may seem, no one can deny their prankish natures that are constantly getting the living dolls into trouble.
The dolls include Fanny Pudge, Poppy Violette, Daisy Ditzy, Peaches Preserve, Petunia Pingle, Saucy Stickers, Rebecca Loca, and Axton the Boy Doll
DAHLIA DOUGHNUT
Dahlia grew up in a home loved by her mother but shamed by her sister’s ridicule that one day she would turn into a doughnut since she regularly binged on the sweet confection. Over time, three doughnut rings gradually took shape in her middle. Ashamed, the charming and intelligent misfit flees and finds her home in Daisy’s World where she is accepted as the beautiful person that she is.
She did not have a plan, only a suitcase and a dream. But she was undeniably thrilled by the unknown and a bright future that Daisy’s World promised. Soon, she became the new proprietor of Fluffy Muffy Bakery, where she reigns as the doughnut queen, regaled for her irresistible confections by the tribe of eccentrics that define Daisy’s World.
DR. PANKAIK
Dr. Demetrios Pankaik is a jolly, round, Greek fellow who favors animals over humans, though everyone adores his eccentric but caring nature. Originally a migrant from the ancient city of Argolis located in the Peloponnese region of Greece, Dr. Pankaik remains true to his Greek culture, even living in the fantastic Daisy’s World.
Legend has it that one Sunday, the Doctor devoured more than a hundred pancakes in one sitting, thus marking him with the grandiose appearance that his middle area is permanently gorged with, well, a stack of pancakes! However, most Daisyfolk simply believe that Dr. Pankaik is just a peculiar fellow with a propensity for the unusual.
DR. PANKAIK
Doctor Dimitrios Pankaik is a jolly, round Greek veterinarian from Argolis, Greece. He favors animals over humans, though everyone is drawn to his eccentric and caring nature. Legend has it that he devoured more than a hundred pancakes in one sitting, thus marking him with the grandiose appearance that his middle area is permanently gorged with, well, a stack of pancakes. His peculiarity led him to Daisy’s World where everyone loves him.
KITTY LOGIC
A WEBTOON
NuNu and Fishy are a couple of fat, black felines who live to defy logic. Their humans are constantly traveling and have no idea what antics the cats are up to when they’re not around. Whether traveling to New York City to celebrate New Year’s Eve, stealing away to Japan for tea ceremony, or jaunting down to Mexico on a surfing fiesta, these gatas are anything but creatures of habit.
When NuNu and Fishy are not lovingly grooming each other, they are squabbling over trivial details which usually results in daggers of insults not for the faint of heart. But they always strike a harmony that inspires a common thread they both share – a hunger for adventure and culture.
THE DEAD STRAWBERRIES
The Dead Strawberries are a rock band that leads a passionate if not narrow fanbase that thrives on their artistic authenticity. These crazy, rockin’ berries are larger than life and Daisy’s World doesn’t know what to do with them. And yet, they sell out at every venue, right up to their performance at Carnegie Hall.
The Dead Strawberries are made up of Roxy the soloist chick, Gunther the guitarist, Kai the keyboardist and Dario the drummer. They are not interested in appealing to the masses and are repulsed by anything normal (what is normal, anyway?). Their artistic vision tramples trends and shuns widespread fame. They could give a hoot. But much like the tasty appeal of a sweet, ripe strawberry, these plump little radicals are loved by their followers. They regularly pump out new tunes to keep them satisfied and their adrenaline rushing.
